Sales Director
About The Position
We're seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our European operations, drive growth, and manage a diverse team of Account Managers.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our European market presence while working with cutting-edge technology companies in a dynamic, multicultural environment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building and scaling our professional services business across Europe's diverse markets.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic territory development plans across European markets, with a focus on achieving ambitious growth, revenue, and margin targets while building long-term client relationships in the professional services sector
- Lead and mentor a multicultural team of Account Managers distributed across European locations, fostering collaboration and driving performance excellence in a diverse environment
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with C-level executives in startup ecosystems, leveraging a deep understanding of professional services and cloud solutions to address complex business challenges
- Manage end-to-end business development cycles, including proposal development, contract negotiations, and statement-of-work creation, ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities
- Lead sales of professional services, including fixed-price and time-and-materials contracts, with a strong focus on value articulation, pricing models, and building long-term client relationships
- Cultivate and strengthen strategic partnerships with AWS, actively participating in joint business planning and co-selling initiatives
- Visiting the AWS London office on a monthly basis
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences, delivering compelling presentations on our service offerings and establishing thought leadership in the professional services space
Requirements
- 4+ years of proven experience in IT Professional Services sales, with demonstrated success in complex solution selling to startup companies
- 2+ years of experience leading and developing distributed sales teams in a multicultural European environment
- Solid understanding of a broad range of technical service offerings, including DevOps implementation, cloud and IT infrastructure consulting, project-based and managed services, custom solutions, and ongoing technical support
- Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas
- Strong network within the European startup ecosystem, particularly in technology and digital native companies
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage effectively across cultural boundaries
- Excellent presentation and organizational capabilities, with a strong focus on strategic planning
- Track record of successful collaboration with marketing, operations, and technical teams
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional European languages - an advantage
- Willingness to travel regularly across European territories for customers, team meetings, and events
- AWS certification and experience in cloud services sales - an advantage
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and/or HubSpot - an advantage
- Experience in managing remote teams across multiple time zones - an advantage
